DO’S AND DON’TS IN TADOBA NATIONAL PARK

Do’s in the wild Tadoba National Park

  •

Listen to your guide and driver : The safari guides and driver are trained by the forest department for years, and they know all the essential things about the park. They are aware of the routes and animal behaviour. Listen to what they say and always follow their instructions. They will help you to spot the wild animals and also save you inside the park from any mishap.

  •

Maintain a distance from animals : Tadoba National Park is a wild spot, and keeping a distance from the animals is an important thing. The animals of this park are wild, even if they are cute, like deer. Never try to go close to any animal and spot or observe them from a safe distance. Also, keep a nice camera if you want closer shots of the wildlife.

  •

Wear Earthy Tones & Comfy Clothes : Whenever you go for a safari inside the wild Tadoba, try to wear clothes that are of earthy shades like green, brown, grey, or beige. They will let you blend in with the surroundings, and animals won’t get disturbed or run away from you. Wearing comfortable clothes is necessary so that you can enjoy a 3 to 4-hour ride without any problem.

  •

Reach the gate on time : The gypsy safari in Tadoba National Park goes inside at a particular time. If you are late for a safari, then you might miss it. To avoid going late, it is important to reach the entry gate at least 30 to 45 minutes before your safari slot. In that time, your ID and permit will be verified, and gypsy safaris will be allotted.

  •

Keep the park clean : If you go inside the park with wafers, tissues, or a plastic water bottle and you empty it during the safari, then don’t throw it anywhere. This is a living home of animals, and there are no dustbins inside the park. You should keep the park clean, come with a waste bag, and keep the wrapper, plastic bottles, or any waste inside it. You can throw that extra bag in the dustbin whenever you come out of the park.

  •

Stay silent during the safari : Your voice can scare the animal, and they can run away from your sight. Whispering inside the forest during your safari is fine, but try to stay silent and enjoy the peace and calmness of this spot. You can listen to the natural sounds of the jungle and melodious bird sounds during the ride.

Don’ts in the wild Tadoba National Park

  • Don’t feed any animal : The Tadoba National Park is a home for wild animals, and even an insect in this park can be very dangerous. Some animals in the park can look cute when you go for a safari ride, but they are not safe. Do not try to feed anything to any animal, as it can make them aggressive for more. Also, outside food can disturb their natural environment and the food chain.

  • Don’t carry alcohol or cigarettes : Going inside the park with alcohol or after drinking alcohol is not allowed, as people are out of their senses. Also, smoking or going inside with any such material is strictly prohibited as a small fire can even cause big mishappenings. • Do Not Go Behind Animals :If you see an animal, then chasing them should be avoided. Never ask your driver to go after an animal, or don’t ask them to change the route of the safari ride. It causes stress to the animals and is against the rules of this park. See them from a distance and respect wildlife.

  • Don’t expect Sure Sightings : Tadoba National Park is a natural habitat for animals, and they roam inside the park whole day. They are not in cages, so their sightings are not certain. The sightings of animals totally depend on your luck. Respect nature and enjoy your safari inside the forest, don’t expect too much from the natural living area of animals.

  • Don’t break the route rules : There are particular routes for safari rides inside the Tadoba National Park. Your driver knows about the route, and they also know what speed limit is ok. Do not tell them where to go or to speed up the safari ride. Just sit inside your gypsy and try to spot animals.
